Slimjection Mesotherapy

Do you have unwanted areas of fat that just don’t seem to go away, but don’t want to go under the knife? Despite a healthy diet and regular exercise many people suffer from areas of fat and cellulite that are stubborn to remove.  Slimjection™ might be the answer you’ve been looking for!

Slimjection™ is a revolutionary technique, which involves injecting small amounts of sterile fat-burning medicine and other medications directly into unwanted fat pockets. Combined with the application of fat-burning hormones, Slimjection™ melts away fatty deposits without surgery.

Dr. Rodriguez’ Slimjection™ is distinctly different and more powerful than the common Lipodissolve “fat melting ” injections.  The Lipodissolve treatment utilizes a safe soy based compound,  phosphatidylcholine, that when injected directly into the area of concern, breaks apart the fat molecule, dissolving it into a liquid that leaks from the fat cells and is naturally eliminated from the body through sweat, urine or faeces. This compound has the same molecular structure as the phosphatidylcholine found in the human body, and its main function is to break down fat and cholesterol. The extract has also been proven to assist in the increase of metabolism and liver function.

Dr. Rodriguez’ Slimjection™ contains additional beneficial active ingredients in the solution, which may include various medications that break down the fat cells faster and prescription medication ingredients that act on the receptors on the walls of the fat cells, preventing fat cells from storing more fat and stimulating a more rapid release of the fat that is already stored.  Dr. Rodriguez’ Slimjection™ also contains medication to enhance the removal of the leaked out, “melted” fat from the area by the body’s lymphatic and circulatory system. These prescription medications are only available to physicians from FDA approved compounding pharmacies and are administered only under  Dr. Rodriguez’ supervision. Lipodissolve and Mesotherapy preparations administered by non-physicians do not contain these effective fat removing medications with the phosphatidylcholine, but may contain other nonprescription, unregulated substances not manufactured in FDA approved facilities.

The effectiveness of Dr. Rodriguez’ formula was proven by an independent research lab in Maryland and was featured on national television on ABC News 20/20 with Barbara Walters. No other injections can make that claim! Slimjection™ treatments can target areas of hard and soft fat, including abdominal areas, “love handles,” upper and lower back areas, inner and outer thighs, arms, knees, and the buttocks.  Slimjection™ can also reduce excess fat on the neck and face. jowls, cheeks, neck, and chin without surgery.

A Mesotherapy variant of the Slimjection™ formula is also used to improve the “hail damage” appearance of cellulite– a major source of embarrassment for over 90% of women, even in relatively thin individuals who are relatively fit and toned. Mesotherapy treatments involve using a tiny needle to make many injection points just underneath the surface of the skin in the areas of concern. A very small amount of the medication is then injected into each of the needle points. A typical Mesotherapy or Slimjection™ treatment takes around 20 to 30 minutes to perform. Injections are recommended every two to three weeks with an average of six to ten treatments required, depending on the amount of fat and, in the case of Mesotherapy, the degree of cellulite or skin laxity. Results can be seen within a few days of each treatment, once any swelling dissipates.

These treatments do not require a local or general anesthetic, but some patients may opt for the application of a topical anesthetic cream 20-30 minutes prior to the procedure.

The Mesotherapy/ Lipodissolve Recovery

These procedures are minimally invasive and therefore have the advantage of a limited recovery time, with the patient noticing only a slight burning or redness in the area immediately following treatment. This usually subsides within a short period of time and can be alleviated with the use of over the counter pain pills and ice packs applied to the area in the first 24 hours. There may also be swelling and tenderness in the area, which will disappear within a few days. Patients can return to normal activities and work immediately following the treatment.

Potential complications and side effects are minimal.  There may be a mild burning, itchy, or prickly sensation in the treatment area. As the fat is broken down, there may be localized warmth and redness, but this usually subsides by the next day. Bruising may occur and usually does not last beyond the first week after treatment. The treatments are not recommended for patients with major medical conditions such as HIV, hepatitis, heart disease or cancer.
